Webmaster
The webmaster for this travesty is a retired (on a fixed income) public school teacher and technology and curriculum resource employee for the Osceola County, Florida school district. My residence is in St Cloud; a suburb of Orlando.
Assisted (but not ably) by the creature to the left, I work not only on this site, but on the local animal shelter website as well as that of the subdivision in which we reside.
Laurie and I have been friends for over 40 years. We met at college and bonded over obnoxious-ness and rude behavior.
I am pleased to say that the spirit of inappropriateness and stupidity is still intact and is on full display to the world in this website.

My teaching career
Overall, my teaching and resource specialist career in Florida was a good one. Fortune shown down on me and I was blessed by working for a number of very good principals and got to work with some of the best teachers that I have ever witnessed apply their craft.
Also had some great student teachers and mentees, one of whom I still speak with today.
As with anyone's life, there were a few losers in the mix, too; particularly on the school administration side.

Since my retirement, a great deal of my time has been invested in Osceola County Animal Services, our local municipal animal shelter.
Once again, I get to work with creative, interesting people (and animals) who help me stretch and learn.
One great experience was fostering, of all things, kittens. This was stepped into reluctantly but was a very successful endeavor. The video on the left is my dog, Shorty, playing with foster cat Bart.
